Bad Video

There are now 2 birds that eat from my hand, and the one mentioned previously is even more friendly than before. She's landed on my hand a few times now as well. Still no video or even pictures, she still doesn't like the camera/phone when it's held up.

Gate 5 Stuff
Most of this is in video format. I'm not sure why the video quality is down to 240p. When it was first uploaded, it was higher. A few minutes after processing was done, the quality dropped a ton. Also I think I need a new mic. It's an old cheap one. Or I just need to get better at speaking into one and slow down. I never remember how fast I talk until I hear myself back.

I know that you were asked this a lot regarding the Water Temple in the Zelda Gate, but are you going to include a map in the Metroid areas? I noticed that while the Metroid games all had a map in the top-right corner of the screen, the DT footage never showed one.

Also, while you were talking about trying to balance all the different movesets while keeping them accurate enough to reflect the respective source material, I was starting to think about that. Do you think it would be a good idea to have each type of enemy only drop items from their respective games, and those items only have an effect while you're in the matching ability set? For example, the Metroid health recovery item would only restore your HP if you were using the Metroid abilities, and if you went into the menu to swap abilities around, the items would disappear? That way, it would help discourage the player from using the Metroid powers in the Castlevania section, for example, unless they were skilled enough to be able to go for long stretches of time without any method of healing.

By the way, I meant to post this on your last update, but it deleted my comment for some reason. I downloaded that OCRemix album you mentioned, and it's pretty good. However, I found over time that I pretty much only listen to the Battle Theme remix, the Prelude, and one of the Opera sequences. Lately, I've been listening to "Get Equipped" and "Get Accoustic" from The Megas. Have you heard those? I love their take on Airman, Bubbleman, and Fireman. There's another one they did about Elecman that's really good, too.

I don't see why you should be compelled to keep using the gate abilities in that gate. You completed the trial the first the you played through the game, so it's only natural to bring the rest of your arsenal post-completion.

Right now, there's no plans for a map in Gate 5.

I have heard music from 'The Megas', they do some good work.

For trying to keep players from using other abilities, that's against what DT3 is set to do. The idea is there is an optimal ability, but most of the time, it isn't supposed to be forced on the player. They should, in theory, be able to play the way they want. Trying to force them to not use certain ability sets like that feels forced and unnecessarily complex. Health items (hearts, etc) should be universal and that's too much micromanagement. I actually want the player to use other abilities outside of their respective gate, that's the idea.
