A Patch That Patches

But what does it patch?

Patch Notes (1.0.1.5)
- When choosing 'Retry from last save' or 'Return to title screen' from any menu, a confirmation menu will pop up.

- Unreal Guy now has his own volume slider and a sound test for it.

- Dead Hand Hands (the spawns) HP change: 350 -> 300

- Jerry and Claire can now have their own hat.

- Engaged Intel(TM) Bird-X 212 Bird Rendering Drive, for 2.5% better wing vectorizing and spline reticulation.

- Added approximately 13 new birds!

This patch is primarily to add the first entry up there. This should help out with those menu mishaps that cause players to lose progress.

This is kind of strange, but I'm hitting a constant unplayable amount of slowdown after updating from 1.0.0.0 to this version. (Yeah, I put off updating for this long)

The game worked just fine when I had the original version, but now I can't play it. I tried setting it to the highest priority in-game, and tried running the game as administrator.

Will it break anything if I go back to my older version?

You can freely go up and down versions just fine.

Bug: At Gate 3 Jerry's hat disappears if you hold the wall when using Link's moveset.

I don't suppose you still have past versions available? I'm kind of curious how far up I can update before I hit the slowdown issue.

You can get the old versions here: http://alice-cheshire.rocks/DistortedTravesty/

Have you tried restarting the PC and all that?

So the current link for the exe is: http://alice-cheshire.rocks/DistortedTravesty/download.php?v=1015&u=true&d=DT3_v1.0.1.5.exe

Look where it shows v=1015 and the end where it shows v1.0.1.5
If you change it to something like v=1011 and v.1.0.1.1, you'll be able to get those other versions. Note that it does skip a version number here and there, so if the url returns nothing, just go down another value.
For example, with the above changes, it would be: cheshire.rocks/DistortedTravesty/download.php?v=1011&u=true&d=DT3_v1.0.1.1.exe

I got 1.0.1.5 working. It was the strangest thing. I downloaded the full game instead of only the EXE, then started it and it ran full speed. I then deleted the save data and copied my original save data over, and I was able to keep playing my same save file. I have no idea why it worked, but it did.
